Dr. Amitabh Gupta is an eminent Neurosurgeon with over 26 years of experience in managing brain and spine disorders.
He has extensive surgical expertise in complex brain tumors, aneurysm clipping, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), spine surgeries, epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation, endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures, as well as trauma care.
He completed his MBBS from Bangalore University in 1999, MS in General Surgery from King George's Medical College, Lucknow University in 2003, and MCh in Neurosurgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum, in 2006.
Dr. Gupta has also received specialized training at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru.
In 2017, he moved to the United States to pursue advanced fellowships in minimally invasive brain surgery at UVA Medical Center, Pittsburgh, and spine surgery at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), Pittsburgh. His training included neuro-oncology, stereotactic radiosurgery, and functional neurosurgery.
He also received training in endoscopic skull base surgery at Ohio State Medical Center and was awarded the prestigious NTRI Fellowship at Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Gupta has numerous publications in reputed international journals and has delivered presentations at both national and international scientific forums.
He serves as a reviewer for respected journals such as the Journal of Neuro-Oncology and the Journal of Operative Neurosurgery.
