Dr. Arun Kumar Giri is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon with over 28 years of expertise in the field.
He is proficient in performing Robotic Surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi platform, as well as Minimally Invasive Surgical procedures.
His clinical focus includes the surgical management of cancers affecting the lungs, prostate, head and neck, kidney, liver, uterus, ovaries, mouth, esophagus, and larynx.
Dr. Giri is also well-versed in thyroid and thoracic surgeries, mastectomy, breast conservation surgery, onco-plasty, breast reconstruction, and limb salvage procedures for bone sarcomas.
He completed his MBBS and MS in Surgery from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University in 1997 and 1999, respectively.
He went on to earn a DNB in Surgical Oncology from the National Board of Examinations in 2008.
Dr. Giri is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
He received advanced training in Head and Neck Surgery from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, USA.
He was also trained in Peritoneal Surface Surgery, CRS, and HIPEC at MedStar Washington Medical Centre, USA.
Additionally, he underwent training in Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal and Colorectal Surgery at the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research in Tokyo, Japan.

He actively contributes to oncology research and has published numerous articles in respected medical journals.
He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Society of Surgical Oncology (USA), the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, the Association of Surgeons of India, and the American College of Surgeons.
