Dr. Rajinder Kaur Saggu has over 26 years of experience as a Surgical Oncologist.
She specializes in early diagnosis & screening of breast cancer, breast disease management (benign and malignant), conventional breast conservation surgery, oncoplastic breast conservative surgery (level 1, 2, and selected level 3 cases), sentinel lymph node biopsy (dual tracer technique), and chemo port insertions.
Her educational journey started with an MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Miraj, Maharashtra, 1998 and MS in General Surgery from Govt. Medical College, Patiala, 2002.
In 2008, Dr. Saggu further pursued her passion as a senior research fellow in breast oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
She was trained under Dr. Rajendra Badwe, learning advanced technologies, reconstructive techniques, and multimodal breast cancer treatments.
She enhanced her expertise as a trainee in breast oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, under the guidance of Dr. Kelly Hunt.
She further earned an MCh in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery from the University of East Anglia, UK, in 2023.
Dr. Saggu actively promotes breast health awareness and a healthy lifestyle.
She is a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI), ?the Delhi Breast Oncology Group (DBOG), the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), and the American College of Surgeons.
She is fluent in English and Hindi.
