Dr. Ramesh Sarin is a highly accomplished Surgical Oncologist with over 62 years of extensive experience.
She specializes in the management of breast cancer and breast diseases, with particular expertise in sentinel node biopsy and a wide range of breast reconstructive surgeries.
Dr. Sarin completed her MBBS in 1963 and MS in General Surgery in 1966 from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
She went on to earn the Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) from Edinburgh, UK, in 1970, and later completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA.
In recognition of her academic excellence, she received the Gold Medal at the 33rd Annual Meeting of Surgeons in India in 1982 for her outstanding article.
She was invited as a Guest Speaker by a university in Andhra Pradesh, India, to speak on teaching methods in life sciences.
Deeply committed to advancing oncology, Dr. Sarin has authored numerous research papers published in both national and international journals.
She is a Founding Member of the Indian Society of Oncology (ISO), a leading forum for oncology meetings and collaborations in India.
Dr. Sarin is affiliated with several prestigious medical bodies, including the Association of Surgeons of India, the Endocrine Society of India, the Indian Association of Cancer Chemotherapists, and the Indian Society of Clinical Oncology.
