Dr. Sanjeev Gulati is a renowned Kidney Transplant Surgeon with more than 40 years of clinical experience.
His expertise includes managing kidney transplants and treating renal diseases in children.
Dr. Gulati played a pivotal role in developing the Dialysis and Transplant Program at SGPGI, Lucknow—one of India's largest transplant centers.
Dr. Gulati completed his MBBS at the University of Delhi in 1985, followed by an MD in Pediatrics from the PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 1989, and a DNB in Pediatrics from New Delhi in 1991. He holds fellowships including FRCPC (Canada), FIPN (Australia), and FIAP.
He currently serves as Principal Director of Nephrology & Kidney Transplant at 28 Hospital and has held academic positions at SGPGI, Lucknow, and McMaster University, Canada.
Dr. Gulati has worked at leading medical institutions in the UK, Australia, and Canada. He has delivered numerous guest lectures and authored over 130 scientific publications in reputed journals like Kidney International, NEJM, and American Journal of Kidney Diseases.
His academic contributions include 20 textbook chapters, including for the Oxford Textbook of Nephrology and Comprehensive Pediatric Nephrology, as well as a book on childhood renal diseases.
He has received prestigious awards from bodies like ICMR, Indian Society of Nephrology, and international institutions such as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Japanese Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Gulati is also a member of the Governing Body of the Indian Society of Nephrology and the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation.
