Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan is a Surgical Oncologist with over 17 years of experience.
He specializes in Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreaticobiliary Oncology, and Peritoneal Surface Malignancy (HIPEC).
He completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore, in 2008, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, in 2012, and an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Gujarat University in 2018.
Dr. Chauhan has pursued focused training in GI oncology and minimally invasive surgery through fellowships with Prof. Marcus Buechler at Heidelberg in HPB oncology and Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at the Indo–American Cancer Institute, Hyderabad, in minimally invasive surgery.
He was awarded the ESSO Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC at Lyon, France, under the mentorship of Prof. Olivier Glehen.
He has authored numerous publications in respected national and international medical journals.
Dr. Chauhan has actively presented research papers at various national and international conferences.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), Indian Society of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy (ISPSM), Indian Society of Oncology (ISO), Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI), European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO-US), European Association of Hepatopancreatobiliary Oncology (EHPBA), and the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA).
