Dr. Giriraj Singh Bora is a renowned Indian Liver Transplant and Gastrointestinal Surgeon with over 24 years of experience.
He is a founder member of the Liver Transplant Society of India and a distinguished member of the Delhi Medical Council.
Dr. Bora specializes in liver transplantation, liver resections for hepatocellular cancers, combined liver-kidney transplantation, and complex pancreatic surgeries, including Whipple’s pancreaticoduodenal resections and procedures for chronic pancreatitis.
He was the first surgeon to successfully perform a liver transplant in Rajasthan and has the distinction of carrying out both the first deceased donor and the first living donor liver transplants in the state.
He has successfully completed more than 1,500 liver transplants and holds extensive expertise in advanced gastrointestinal surgeries.
Dr. Bora played a pivotal role in initiating and advancing the liver transplant program in Rajasthan and was felicitated by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for his contribution.
His research work focuses on hemodynamic changes during liver transplantation and IVC cross-clamping in living donor liver transplants.
